I am an MA student in Ottoman History at Bilkent University, Ankara. My research interests revolve around the Ottoman religious, cultural and intellectual history. I am currently writing my thesis, on the Sunni counter propaganda against the Safavid threat in the long sixteenth century, under the supervision of Prof. Akif Kirecci.
